Enabling High-Energy-Density High-Efficiency Ferroelectric Polymer Nanocomposites with Rationally Designed Nanofillers

Summary: The study reveals the important role of dielectric match between filler and polymer matrix on the capacitive performance of ferroelectric polymer composites. By using Al2O3 nanoplates embedded in solution-processed ferroelectric polymer nanocomposites, significantly improved breakdown strength and discharged energy density were achieved, along with exceptional charge-discharge efficiency.
