Sensorimotor and interoceptive dimensions in concrete and abstract concepts

Summary: Recent theories suggest that abstract concepts may activate interoceptive, social, and linguistic experiences to a larger extent compared to concrete concepts. Investigating different sub-kinds of abstract concepts is important. The study findings indicate that abstract concepts are more grounded in interoceptive experience compared to concrete concepts.
