Modified graphene oxide anode: A bioinspired waste material for bioremediation of Pb2+ with energy generation through microbial fuel cells

Asim Ali Yaqoob et al.

Summary: This study utilized oil palm biomass waste-derived graphene derivatives as a novel anode material in MFCs and further improved the efficiency of MFCs by fabricating composite anodes to treat Pb2+ wastewater. The results demonstrate that the composite anode exhibited higher efficiency, power density, and current density compared to the single L-GO anode.
