Altered functional connectivity of the dorsal attention network among problematic social network users

Deokjong Lee et al.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the characteristics of attention networks in problematic social network users, and found differences in their functional connectivity, with stronger connections in the dorsal attention network compared to controls, and no significant differences in the ventral attention network. Additionally, the usage times on social networking platforms significantly predicted the strength of attention network connections.
