Genome-wide SNP discovery and core marker sets for DNA barcoding and variety identification in commercial tomato cultivars

Summary: This study identified genome-wide SNPs in commercial tomato cultivars and developed core marker sets for assessing genetic variations. The results showed significant genetic differences between large-fruited fresh market cultivars and cherry/grape cultivars, with the latter exhibiting higher levels of genetic diversity.
