Tunable photoluminescence of CaCu3Ti4O12 based ceramics modified with tungsten

H. Moreno et al.

Summary: Experimental and computational analyses were conducted to study the microstructure and optical properties of CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) ceramic systems with different percentages of W. The addition of W was found to induce structural changes and influence the luminescent performance of the material. The research suggests that this ceramic system may hold promise for applications in photonics.

Colossal dielectric response and relaxation behavior in novel system of Zr4+ and Nb5+ co-substituted CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramics

Pu Mao et al.

Summary: This study developed a novel system of isovalent Zr4+ and donor Nb5+ co-doped CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) ceramics to enhance dielectric response. The co-doping of Zr4+ and Nb5+ ions significantly reduced grain size and improved dielectric constant, leading to giant dielectric response within broader frequency and temperature ranges. The enhanced dielectric response is primarily attributed to the complex defect dipoles associated with oxygen vacancies by co-doping Zr4+ and Nb5+ ions into CCTO structure.

Dielectric and non-ohmic analysis of Sr2- influences on CaCu3Ti4O12-based ceramic composites

J. A. Cortes et al.

Summary: The study prepared CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramic composites by adding Sr2+ and removing Cu2+, resulting in the formation of different phases mixtures, with samples containing Sr0.75Ca0.25TiO3 phase showing potential non-ohmic behavior. It is noteworthy that samples with a higher presence of the SCTO phase displayed high nonlinear coefficient and low current leakage.
