This article introduces a new predictive-repetitive control method for rotor current control of a doubly fed induction generator operating under voltage harmonic distortion in a synchronous reference frame. The control approach utilizes receding horizon predictive control and frequency decomposition of the reference signal, designed and implemented from the perspective of power systems. Experimental results with voltage harmonic distortions are presented to validate the proposed controller.
This article presents a predictive-repetitive control for rotor current control operating under voltage harmonic distortion for a doubly fed induction generator in a synchronous reference frame. Predictive-repetitive control is an approach that uses receding horizon by predictive control with frequency decomposition of the reference signal. Moreover, to apply in wind energy, the predictive-repetitive control is implemented and designed from the perspectives of the power system. This controller is designed by using the state-space model of the plant, and the experimental results with voltage harmonic distortions are presented to prove the proposal.
