Visceral adipose tissue in patients with COVID-19: risk stratification for severity

Summary: This study aimed to assess adipose tissue estimates in COVID-19 patients at abdominopelvic CT and found higher visceral fat in hospitalized patients compared to outpatients. Addition of visceral fat estimates improved the accuracy in discriminating hospitalized patients from outpatients.
