Increased Circulating H3 Histone in Response to Repeated Bouts of Exercise Does Not Associate with Parallel Alterations of Cell-Free DNA

Robert Stawski et al.

Summary: Histones and PAD4 levels increase in response to strenuous exercise, but there is no significant correlation between citrullinated histone and aggregation of cell-free nDNA. Positive correlations have been observed between cf nDNA with aggregation and PAD4, lactate with aggregation, and lactate with citrullinated histone.

Physical activity and adipokine levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes: A literature review and practical applications

Hassane Zouhal et al.

Summary: The review highlights the effects of physical activity on adipokine levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes, indicating that physical activity can improve diabetes status by regulating adipokine levels. However, variations in exercise modality, intensity, duration, and cohort characteristics may impact the results, suggesting that long-term aerobic + resistance training combined with dietary modifications may be a more effective strategy for improving adipokines profiles in patients with type 2 diabetes.
