Highly conductive graphene/carbon black screen printing inks for flexible electronics

Lixin Liu et al.

Summary: A novel graphene-based screen printing conductive ink was introduced with liquid-exfoliated graphene powders and carbon black as conductive fillers, exhibiting good printability, high electrical conductivity, and outstanding mechanical properties for flexible electronic devices. Special post-treatment process makes the conductive ink formulation compatible with a wide range of substrates, suitable for Roll-to-Roll applications, providing a new solution to high-efficiency, low-cost, large-scale production of printed flexible electronics.

Stretchable graphene and carbon nanofiber capacitive touch sensors for robotic skin applications

Srinivasarao Yaragalla et al.

Summary: Stretchable capacitive tactile sensors were fabricated using conductive graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) or carbon nanofibers (CNFs) coatings on stretchable nitrile rubber sheets. CNF-based coatings showed lower sheet resistance and better current transmission under elongation compared to GNP-based coatings. Structural damages within the coatings could be healed by a rapid heat annealing process, restoring to initial current.
