Phosphate-solubilizing microorganisms to enhance phytoremediation of excess phosphorus pollution in phosphate mining wasteland soil

Summary: Remediation using plant-microbe interactions is an effective method for restoring phosphate mining wastelands. This study showed that native phosphate-solubilizing microorganisms could increase phosphorus availability in soil, enhance plant growth, and promote phosphorus accumulation in plants, thus aiding in the phytoremediation of excess phosphorus contamination in phosphate mining wasteland.

Improvement of the Cu and Cd phytostabilization efficiency of perennial ryegrass through the inoculation of three metal-resistant PGPR strains

Summary: Three strains of plantgrowth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPRs) and two grass species were tested for the remediation of Cu and Cd polluted soils. The PGPR strains showed promising results in metal adsorption, promotion traits maintenance, and phytostabilization potential improvement. Ryegrass was selected for pot experiments due to its higher tolerance and germination rate under Cu and Cd stress compared to fescue.
