Structural characterization and dielectric parameters of polyindole/WO3 nanocomposites

Summary: In this study, polyindole/tungsten trioxide (PIn/WO3) nanocomposites were prepared and characterized for the first time, with investigations into their structural properties and frequency-dependent electrical features. The average particle size of WO3 was found to be between 15.36 and 44.71 nm, and dielectric analysis showed a decrease in ε' values with increasing WO3 content in the PIn matrix at low frequencies. Electric modulus analysis indicated an increase in M' value with frequency, suggesting the presence of short-range mobile charge carriers contributing to electrical conductivity.
