The direct impact of COVID-19 on children is significant, highlighting the importance of pediatric vaccination. Therefore, initiating phase 2 clinical trials for children should be a priority to address safety concerns and help in the recovery from COVID-19.

Summary: This study investigated factors associated with pneumococcal vaccination (PV) completion among individuals aged 65 years and older in Hong Kong, China. The Health Belief Model constructs, knowledge about pneumococcal diseases and vaccination, and perceived self-efficacy were significantly associated with PV completion. Targeted, theory-based health promotion efforts are needed to increase PV coverage among the elderly in Hong Kong.

Factors associated with parents' willingness to enroll their children in trials for COVID-19 vaccination

Summary: This study aimed to estimate nurses' vaccination behaviors and intentions, as well as examined the psychological antecedents. It also investigated the mediation effects of work stress on the association between work demands and COVID-19 vaccination intention. The results showed suboptimal uptake rate of COVID-19 vaccine among nurses and the importance of considering 5C constructs in vaccination campaigns.

Behavioral Intention to Receive a COVID-19 Vaccination Among Chinese Factory Workers: Cross-sectional Online Survey

Summary: This study investigated the prevalence and factors associated with the intention to receive COVID-19 vaccinations among Chinese factory workers during the pandemic. The results showed that positive attitudes towards vaccination, support from significant others, perceived behavioral control, exposure to positive information through social media, and compliance with preventive measures were all positively associated with the intention to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.
