Activatable Zymography Probes Enable In Situ Localization of Protease Dysregulation in Cancer

Summary: Recent advancements in conditionally activated diagnostics and therapeutics for cancer have been enabled by the development of novel in situ probes that can detect protease activity within tissue microenvironments. These activatable zymography probes (AZPs) have the potential to provide new insights into protease dysregulation in cancer and accelerate the development of tailored cancer diagnostics and therapeutics.
