Interactive effects of water temperature and stoichiometric food quality onDaphnia pulicaria

Cody W. E. Starke et al.

Summary: The study found that the mass-specific growth rates ofD. pulicaridiffered with food quality, and this effect depended on temperature. There were strong interactive effects of temperature and food quality onDaphnia, with especially dynamic changes seen among differentially nourished animals raised in water above 25 degrees C.
