Dually nanocoated planar waveguides towards multi-parameter sensing

Summary: By coating both faces of a glass coverslip with a thin film, it is possible to simultaneously excite two resonances for detecting two different parameters, such as temperature and humidity. Optimizing the device allows for sensitive detection of multiple parameters in both visible and near infrared spectral ranges, paving the way for future sensor development based on multiple resonances related to different parameters.
