Numerical analysis of nonlinear mixed convective MHD chemically reacting flow of Prandtl-Eyring nanofluids in the presence of activation energy and Joule heating

Iftikhar Uddin et al.

Summary: This study aims to explore the nonlinear mixed convection flow of nanomaterials with activation energy, analyzing the impacts of cross-diffusion and characteristics of nanoliquid. Ordinary differential equations are obtained through consideration of proper variables, and the relevant system is tackled with a numerical scheme. Significant outcomes are depicted graphically and elaborated on the relevance of various variables, with the analysis of temperature and velocity gradients at the surface versus different variables being tabulated and inspected.

Dynamics of multiple solutions of Darcy-Forchheimer saturated flow of Cross nanofluid by a vertical thin needle point

Pei-Ying Xiong et al.

Summary: The study discusses the 2D steady, laminar and incompressible flow of magneto-Cross nanofluid towards the region of moving thin needle. Results show that higher values of magnetic parameter and Weissenberg number slow down fluid velocity, while an increase in Brownian motion and thermophoresis parameters improves thermal distribution.

Critical values in axisymmetric flow of magneto-Cross nanomaterial towards a radially shrinking disk

Aamir Hamid et al.

Summary: This study investigates dual solutions for the influence of chemical reactions and radiation effects on axisymmetric flow of magneto-Cross nanomaterial towards a radially shrinking disk, taking into account stagnation points. By analyzing suitable graphs, the study examines the effects of various parameters on dimensionless velocity, thermal gradients, concentration gradients, skin friction, rates of heat and mass transfer. Results indicate that an increase in the Brownian motion parameter improves the thermal gradient but decreases the concentration gradient, while an increase in the thermophoresis parameter enhances the concentration gradient but exhibits a reverse trend for high Schmidt number values. Dual solutions exist within a certain range of shrinking parameters.

Summary: This study investigates the flow characteristics of carbon nanotubes in non-Newtonian fluids, taking into account various factors that affect them. It is found that changes in different parameters have a significant impact on properties such as flow velocity and heat transfer, and there are differences in the properties of different types of carbon nanotubes.

Comparative analysis of (Zinc ferrite, Nickel Zinc ferrite) hybrid nanofluids slip flow with entropy generation

P-Y Xiong et al.

Summary: This study analyzes the flow of hybrid nanofluid over a sheet, investigating parameters such as velocity, thermal gradients, and entropy generation. Results show that certain hybrid nanofluids exhibit lower velocity and higher entropy generation. Increasing the heat generation parameter can enhance the rate of heat transfer.

Unsteady MHD flow of a nano powell-eyring fluid near stagnation point past a convectively heated stretching sheet in the existence of chemical reaction with thermal radiation

Vishwambhar S. Patil et al.

Summary: This study investigates the unsteady MHD flow of a Nano Powell-Eyring fluid near a stagnation point past a convectively heated stretching sheet in the presence of chemical reaction and thermal radiation. The physical model is transformed into a system of nonlinear ODEs through group theoretic analysis and numerically studied using the R-K's fourth order method along with shooting technique. Graphical analysis on the velocity, temperature, and concentration distribution is conducted to examine the associated physical parameters.
