Effects of Totum-63 on glucose homeostasis and postprandial glycemia: a translational study

Vivien Chavanelle et al.

Summary: Totum-63, a polyphenol-rich natural composition, showed beneficial effects on glucose homeostasis in both HFD-fed mice and overweight individuals, potentially through a multitargeted action on different metabolic organs. The supplement was well tolerated in humans and improved postprandial glucose and insulin responses to a high-carbohydrate breakfast test.

Ferulic Acid Stimulates Adipocyte-Specific Secretory Proteins to Regulate Adipose Homeostasis in 3T3-L1 Adipocytes

Palaniselvam Kuppusamy et al.

Summary: The study found that ferulic acid (FA) can significantly inhibit adipogenesis and lipid accumulation, enhance lipolysis by regulating key adipocyte factors and enzymes, and decrease adipocyte differentiation markers, showing potential as a potent molecule to prevent obesity and associated metabolic changes in the future.

The TOTUM-63 Supplement and High-Intensity Interval Training Combination Limits Weight Gain, Improves Glycemic Control, and Influences the Composition of Gut Mucosa-Associated Bacteria in Rats on a High Fat Diet

Marine Dupuit et al.

Summary: The combination of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and TOTUM-63 has shown to limit weight gain, improve glycemic control, increase colon mucosa microbiota diversity, and enhance the relative abundance of beneficial bacteria. These results suggest that this combination could be effective for managing obesity and prediabetes.
