How norms, needs, and power in science obstruct transformations towards sustainability

Myanna Lahsen et al.

Summary: Scientists and analysts are calling for a shift in research focus towards understanding socio-political obstacles to achieving sustainability, but this shift has been difficult to achieve due to mutually reinforcing power structures and interests within global environmental change institutions.
