All-Vacuum-Processing for Fabrication of Efficient, Large-Scale, and Flexible Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells

Mohammad Mahdi Tavakoli et al.

Summary: In this study, efficient and large-area perovskite solar cells were successfully fabricated using thermal evaporation technique. The PSCs achieved power conversion efficiencies as high as 19.4% for small area and 18.1% for large area. The vacuum deposition approach demonstrated excellent stability and scalability potential for commercialization of PSCs.

A general approach to high-efficiency perovskite solar cells by any antisolvent

Alexander D. Taylor et al.

Summary: The authors report a general method for fabricating highly efficient perovskite solar cells using any antisolvent by manipulating the application rate. A detailed study of 14 different antisolvents revealed two key factors affecting film quality, leading to power conversion efficiencies exceeding 21% in devices made from a wide range of precursor chemistries.

Research and progress of black metastable phase CsPbI3 solar cells

Huanhuan Yao et al.

Summary: Recent attention has been focused on all-inorganic perovskite semiconductors, particularly CsPbI3, for their excellent thermal stability and potential in achieving high power conversion efficiency. However, the instability of CsPbI3 at room temperature, where its black phase easily transitions into a non-perovskite phase, poses challenges for commercial applications. While the cubic phase can be obtained at high temperature, the harsh preparation conditions limit its widespread use, making the metastable phases (beta, gamma) more promising due to their relative stability and lower phase transition temperature in improving the performance and stability of CsPbI3 perovskite solar cells.
