Thermal analysis in swirling flow of titanium dioxide-aluminum oxide water hybrid nanofluid over a rotating cylinder

Summary: This study examines the thermal features of hybrid nanofluid flow over a stretchable swirling cylinder, demonstrating that nanoparticles are more superior for heat transfer enhancement than usual fluids, with an increase in heat transfer rate as the volume fraction of nanoparticles increases. The governing system of partial differential equations is transformed into ordinary differential equations, and numerical and graphical results are obtained using MATLAB. Various parameters such as Reynolds number, magnetic field parameter, volume concentration of nanoparticles, radiation parameter, Eckert numbers and Prandtl number are discussed against flow and thermal fields.

Prospects of measuring Rb in hadronic Z decays at the CEPC

Summary: With an integrated luminosity of 45 ab-1 at s=91.2 GeV, more than 1012 Z bosons will be produced at the CEPC, allowing for precise study of Z boson physics. The study in this paper focuses on measuring the relative partial width Rb of Z boson into b quarks using the double-tagging method, demonstrating good performance and successful verification through a closure test. Systematic errors related to b-tagging efficiencies and hemisphere correlation are investigated and studied preliminarily.

Flow and heat transfer analysis of carbon nanotubes based nanofluid flow inside a cavity with modified Fourier heat flux

Summary: This study numerically examines the impact of modified Fourier heat flux on the flow and heat transfer characteristics of magnetic nanofluid inside a cavity packed with Ethylene Glycol - Multiwalled carbon nanotubes type nanofluid, taking thermal radiation into account. The results show that the heat transfer rates increase significantly when multi-walled carbon nanotubes of volume fraction 0.03 are added to the base fluid.
