Low-cost air quality sensors have emerged as an alternative to improve monitoring granularity, but they face challenges such as cross-sensitivities, external factors, and degradation of accuracy over time. Periodic recalibration, particularly with machine-learning-based calibration, can enhance the accuracy of these sensors.
