Generalized finite difference method for electroelastic analysis of three-dimensional piezoelectric structures

Summary: This study presents the first application of GFDM for numerical solutions of 3D piezoelectric problems, utilizing local partitioning and approximation methods to construct local linear equation systems and establish a sparse stiffness matrix to satisfy mechanical and electrical governing equations.
