UTE T2*mapping of tendinopathic patellar tendons: an MRI reproducibility study

Anne-Sofie Agergaard et al.

Summary: The study found that UTE MRI T2* mapping has good test-retest reproducibility for measuring tendinopathic patellar tendons, as well as intra- and inter-observer reproducibility. The results showed a small bias and low mean difference, demonstrating the reliability of repeated measurements with UTE T2* mapping.

Clinical Outcomes, Structure, and Function Improve With Both Heavy and Moderate Loads in the Treatment of Patellar Tendinopathy: A Randomized Clinical Trial

Anne-Sofie Agergaard et al.

Summary: The study showed that in the treatment of tendinopathy, using high load (90% 1RM) did not have a significant advantage over moderate load (55% 1RM) in terms of short-term clinical outcomes, tendon structure, and function. In the long term, both interventions demonstrated continued improvements, but did not reach the level of healthy tendons.
