A self-adaptive kernel extreme learning machine for short-term wind speed forecasting

Liye Xiao et al.

Summary: In order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of wind speed forecasting, a self-adaptive kernel extreme learning machine (KELM) is proposed in this paper. The KELM can simultaneously eliminate old data and learn from new data, achieving more accurate forecasting results at a faster calculation speed.

Embedded stacked group sparse autoencoder ensemble with L1 regularization and manifold reduction

Yongming Li et al.

Summary: This paper proposes an embedded stacked group sparse autoencoder (ESGSAE) that considers the complementarity between original features and deep features. L-1 regularization-based feature selection and an ensemble model with support vector machine further enhance feature learning effectiveness. The ESGSAE model outperforms existing methods in classification accuracy improvements.

Electricity theft detection based on stacked sparse denoising autoencoder

Yifan Huang et al.

Summary: This paper presents a method for detecting electricity theft based on autoencoders, using a stacked sparse denoising autoencoder approach. The technique trains on electricity data from honest users, reconstructs inputs, and identifies theft users by setting an appropriate error threshold. Sparsity, noise, and particle swarm optimization are used to improve feature extraction and robustness, with the proposed approach evaluated on a electricity dataset in Fujian, China.
