Multiphase flow and heat transfer characteristics of an extra-long gravity-assisted heat pipe: An experimental study

Summary: This study conducted a systematic experimental research on the performance of an extra-long heat pipe, finding that different multiphase flow regimes significantly influence the heat pipe's performance, with the transition between these regimes influenced by various factors. The heat pipe showed the best thermal performance in the evaporating film boiling regime when using water as the working fluid.

Despite the promising potential of PLL-based nanomaterials in biomedical fields, challenges and perspectives still need to be addressed.
