The Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic and Lockdown Measures on Quality of Life among Italian General Population

Maria Stella Epifanio et al.

Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown measures had a significant impact on the quality of life of a large sample in Italy, with differences observed in quality of life levels based on variables such as gender, area of residence, and being diagnosed with a medical/psychiatric condition. This study provides insights into which social groups are more vulnerable to a decline in quality of life and would benefit from psychological interventions during the pandemic.
