Summary: The combination of LAMP technology and LFB biosensor was developed for visual inspection of C. perfringens specific cpa gene, showing no cross-reactivity with other bacterial strains and a detection limit of 1-10 CFU/g sample. Compared to commercial real-time PCR kit and culture-based method, the LAMP-LFB assay demonstrated high sensitivity (88.0%), specificity (95.5%), and relative accuracy.
