Dynamin-dependent vesicle twist at the final stage of clathrin-mediated endocytosis

Summary: The study revealed that during dynamin accumulation peak, vesicles carrying cargos undergo sudden and rapid super twists, followed by detachment from the cell membrane. This indicates that dynamin-mediated vesicle scission is mainly driven by a large torque generated by the coordinated actions of multiple dynamins.
