Comprehensive defect suppression in perovskite nanocrystals for high-efficiency light-emitting diodes

Young-Hoon Kim et al.

Summary: In this study, a one-dopant alloying strategy was employed to enhance electroluminescence efficiencies of metal halide perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) by reducing defect formation and enhancing charge carrier confinement. Surface-stabilizing agents and bromide vacancy healing agents were utilized to decrease defect density and improve carrier confinement, resulting in significant enhancement in performance.

Large-area and efficient perovskite light-emitting diodes via low-temperature blade-coating

Shenglong Chu et al.

Summary: Efficient large-area perovskite light emitting diodes for mass production are hindered by difficulties in obtaining uniform films and high costs. The authors demonstrate sol-gel engineering of low-temperature blade-coated perovskite films, which can address these limitations.

All-Inorganic Quantum-Dot LEDs Based on a Phase-Stabilized α-CsPbI3 Perovskite

Ya-Kun Wang et al.

Summary: The all-inorganic nature of CsPbI3 perovskites enhances stability in perovskite devices. Inorganic ligand exchange leads to CsPbI3 QD films with superior phase stability and increased thermal transport. LEDs with KI-exchanged QD films exhibit increased thermal transport and higher operating stability compared to control devices.

Efficient light-emitting diodes based on oriented perovskite nanoplatelets

Jieyuan Cui et al.

Summary: Solution-processed planar perovskite light-emitting diodes (LEDs) offer high performance and cost-effective electroluminescent devices suitable for large-area display and lighting applications. LEDs utilizing perovskite nanoplatelets with a high ratio of horizontal transition dipole moments (TDMs) have demonstrated an enhanced light-outcoupling efficiency and achieved a peak EQE of 23.6%, making them highly efficient planar perovskite LEDs.
