The CatWISE2020 Catalog

Federico Marocco et al.

Summary: The CatWISE2020 Catalog is composed of nearly 1.9 billion sources selected from WISE and NEOWISE survey data, with improved depth and accuracy compared to the Preliminary Catalog. The detection list was generated using a different method, resulting in twice as many sources. The catalog provides enhanced accuracy in motions and is available in the NASA/IPAC Infrared Science Archive.

Compact steep-spectrum and peaked-spectrum radio sources

Christopher P. O'Dea et al.

Summary: CSS and PS radio sources, which are compact and powerful, have three main hypotheses for their nature, each with significant implications for the radio galaxy paradigm. Multi-frequency observations and proper motion studies have revealed the young nature of these sources, and many CSS/PS sources have been found to be embedded in dense interstellar medium.

New optically identified supernova remnants in the Large Magellanic Cloud

Miranda Yew et al.

Summary: A new optical sample of three SNRs and 16 SNR candidates in the LMC is presented, with most objects located in less dense regions. Spectroscopic follow-up observations confirm high [S II]/Hα emission-line ratios for 12 objects, and a special example of a possible type Ia SN remnant is identified. The SNR candidates appear to be larger in size than known LMC SNRs, indicating the discovery of a potentially older class of large LMC SNRs that are only visible optically.
