Numerical simulation of a nonlinear coupled differential system describing a convective flow of Casson gold-blood nanofluid through a stretched rotating rigid disk in the presence of Lorentz forces and nonlinear thermal radiation

Umair Khan et al.

Summary: Extensive analysis has been conducted on the use of nanofluids in heat transfer, focusing on the impact of gold plated nanoparticles on blood flow. The Casson fluid model was used to simulate the transportation of blood flow, revealing the momentum features of the flowing fluid through magnetization and porosity aspects, and predicting the thermal attributes of the flow under nonlinearized radiating thermal flux.

Significance of nonlinear thermal radiation in 3D Eyring-Powell nanofluid flow with Arrhenius activation energy

Taseer Muhammad et al.

Summary: This paper investigates a mathematical analysis of three-dimensional Eyring-Powell nanofluid nonlinear thermal radiation with modified heat plus mass fluxes. The slip condition is introduced to enhance the dynamical and physical study of structure, and a Riga plate is employed to diminish the friction and pressure drag of submarines. The Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model is used to evaluate heat transfer, and comparisons between bvp4c results and shooting technique are made with graphical and numerical illustrations for prominent parameters.

Heat and mass transfer in MHD Williamson nanofluid flow over an exponentially porous stretching surface

Yi-Xia Li et al.

Summary: This study investigates the rate of heat and mass transfer in MHD Williamson nanofluid flow over an exponentially porous stretching surface, with different conditions of heat transfer. The numerical solutions show that the rate of heat transfer decreases with the increase of Brownian motion parameter, while it increases with the increase of thermophoresis parameter. Moreover, the Sherwood number increases with the rising values of the Prandtl number and Lewis number.

High-performance nanofluid synthesis and DFT-TDDFT study of graphene nanosheets along bent surface for enhanced oil-recovery implementations

Mohamed R. Eid et al.

Summary: The thermal characteristics of mono and hybrid nanofluid convective flows over a slippage permeable curved surface were studied. It was found that higher curvature of the surface leads to a decrease in temperature while increasing flow velocity. The rate of heat transfer is enhanced with the increase in radiative and suction flow.

Assisting and Opposing Stagnation Point Pseudoplastic Nano Liquid Flow towards a Flexible Riga Sheet: A Computational Approach

Aysha Rehman et al.

Summary: The influence of combined convection on heat transfer and pseudoplastic non-Newtonian nanofluid flow towards an extendable Riga surface is highlighted in this study using the Buongiorno model. The effects of various physical parameters on skin friction, mass transfer, and thermal energy are numerically computed. Parameters like modified Hartmann number, mixed convection, and width parameter impact the velocity fluctuations and temperature curve.

Unsteady hybrid nanofluid flow over a radially permeable shrinking/stretching surface

Umair Khan et al.

Summary: The time-dependent stagnation point flow and heat transfer of a water-based hybrid nanofluid from a radially permeable shrinking or stretching surface are investigated. Numerical results indicate the existence of dual solutions, with only one being stable, and the hybrid nanofluid enhances heat transfer rate compared to a regular fluid.

Physical aspects of convective and radiative molecular theory of liquid originated nanofluid flow in the existence of variable properties

Aysha Rehman et al.

Summary: This study examines the analysis of combined convection and thermal radiation on molecular theory of liquid originated nanofluid over an extendable surface using a numerical approach. The temperature-dependent viscosity and thermal conductivity are considered, with a focus on thermophoresis and Brownian motion effects on nanofluid attributes. The impact of various physical parameters on velocity, thermal energy, and mass transfer is computed numerically and graphically, revealing patterns such as temperature fluctuation and concentration boundary layer thickness under different conditions.
