An innovative sensor based on 2D-titanium carbide/reduced graphene oxide composite material was developed for furazolidone detection. The sensor showed wide linear range, low detection limit, and good sensitivity, making it suitable for biological and food applications.
Herein, an innovative, simple, and low-cost sensor was developed for investigating the furazolidone detection based on the facile architecture of electroactive composite material (2D-titanium carbide/reduced graphene oxide). The as-prepared composite material were characterized by various spectroscopies and analytical techniques. The 2D-titanium carbide/reduced graphene oxide composite modified electrode delivered a wide linear range (0.01-111 mM), low limit of detection (2 nM) and good sensitivity (19.63 mA mM-1cm-2). The designed furazolidone sensor was successfully applied into the realtime analysis in human serum and food (cow milk, and pork liver) samples with satisfactory recovery results. These results inspire that the as-prepared composite will be a potential material for furazolidone sensors in biological and food applications. (c) 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
