Genetic variants in m6A modification core genes are associated with glioma risk in Chinese children

Jing He et al.

Summary: The study investigated the relationship between 24 functional single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in eight m(6)A modification core genes and glioma risk, revealing several variants that were significantly associated with increased or decreased risk of glioma. The findings suggest that variants in m(6)A modification core genes play a role in pediatric glioma etiology, with some variants showing stronger associations in certain subgroups.

m6A RNA Methylation Regulators Act as Potential Prognostic Biomarkers in Lung Adenocarcinoma

Hongbo Wang et al.

Summary: N-6-methyladenosine (m(6)A) methylation is a common RNA modification in eukaryotic cells, closely associated with tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. Revealing five m(6)A regulatory factors could have potential prognostic value for the survival outcomes of patients with lung adenocarcinoma.
