How phase aliasing limits systematic space-borne DInSAR monitoring and failure forecast of alpine landslides

Andrea Manconi

Summary: Recent advances in satellite geodesy have improved our ability to map and monitor landslides globally with unprecedented resolution, but the use of DInSAR technology for landslide monitoring has several constraints. The study discusses the temporal phase aliasing effect in analyzing accelerating deformations with DInSAR, providing important insights into the application of multitemporal DInSAR for systematic landslide monitoring frameworks.
