Synthesis and characterization of nano bentonite and its effect on some properties of sandy soils

Summary: This study assessed the influence of bentonite and nano bentonite on the properties of sandy soils and wheat growth, finding that the addition of these substances can increase the available water and water holding capacity of the soil, leading to higher wheat yield and nutrient content. The best treatment was ultimately T4 with nano bentonite, followed by T2 with raw bentonite, showing the highest values of elements content in the soil or wheat crop.
