Development of a novel graphitic carbon nitride and multiwall carbon nanotube co-doped Ti/PbO2 anode for electrocatalytic degradation of acetaminophen

Shouxian Chen et al.

Summary: A novel GCN/CNT doped Ti/PbO2 anode was constructed for effective degradation of ACE wastewater, achieving removal efficiencies of 83.2% for ACE and 76.3% for chemical oxygen demand under optimal conditions. The excellent electrocatalytic activity of the Ti/PbO2-GCN-CNTanode for ACE oxidation is attributed to the effective suppression of oxygen evolution and enhanced electron transfer.

Influence of Nd-doping on the degradation performance of Ti/Sb-SnO2 electrode

Yan-Fang Song et al.

Summary: Ti/Sb/SnO2 electrodes doped with different proportions of Nd were prepared by thermal decomposition method, and the effect of Nd-doping amount on the electrode performance was studied. The Ti/Sb/SnO2-Nd electrode doped with 1% Nd showed improved crystallinity, higher voltampere charge, increased oxygen evolution potential, extended service life, and higher degradation efficiency compared to the Ti/Sb/SnO2 electrode without Nd-doping. Overall, the Ti/Sb/SnO2-Nd electrode doped with 1% Nd exhibited high electrocatalytic oxidation activity and good stability.

Decontamination of dense nonaqueous-phase liquids in groundwater using pump-and-treat and in situ chemical oxidation processes: a field test

Tian Xie et al.

Summary: Groundwater remediation is challenging due to the complexity of treatment areas and the presence of various pollutants. A combined pump-and-treat and in situ chemical oxidation system can effectively remove DNAPLs from groundwater. The pollutant concentration during remediation positively correlates with pH, electrical conductivity, and dissolved oxygen concentration, and negatively correlates with SO42- concentration.
