Nickel sulfide nanoparticle anchored reduced graphene oxide with improved lithium storage properties

Summary: In this study, reduced graphene oxide@nickel sulfide composites were synthesized by a solvothermal method, showing a unique 3D porous structure and demonstrating good reversible capacity and rate capability in lithium-ion batteries. The presence of C-S bonds in the composite enhances the synergistic effect between reduced graphene oxide and nickel sulfide, leading to improved conductivity, volume variation, and active sites of the composites.
