Enhanced luminescence of CaF2:Er3+/Nd3+ nanoparticles coated by fluorinated β-diketone

Summary: This study synthesized CaF2 nanoparticles doped with Nd3+ and Er3+ ions using ligands PBTA and NTA, and investigated the influence of these modifiers on the luminescence properties of the nanoparticles. The results showed that nanoparticles modified by PBTA ligand exhibited stronger luminescence intensity when doped with Nd3+ or Er3+ ions.
