Palaeozoic micro-pelmatozoan thecae from the bedload of the River Maas (province of Limburg, the Netherlands)

Stephen K. Donovan et al.

Summary: In the Venlo-Tegelen area of the Netherlands, two exceptional Late Palaeozoic pelmatozoans, Rhodocrinites sp. and Doryblastus? sp., were discovered from silexite cobbles in the bedload of the River Maas. These specimens may be juveniles and are likely not contemporaneous, but both originated from Lower Carboniferous carbonate rocks.
