The phase behavior of n-ethylpyridinium tetrafluoroborate and sodium-based salts ATPS and its application in 2-chlorophenol extraction

Summary: This study investigated the aqueous two-phase systems (ATPS) containing [EPy]BF4, sodium-based salts, and water to extract 2-chlorophenol, demonstrating that the salt-outing ability of Na2CO3 is better than NaH2PO4. The results showed that [EPy]BF4 + Na2CO3 ATPS outperformed [EPy]BF4 + NaH2PO4 ATPS in applications for extracting phenolic compounds.

Summary: A novel chiral magnetic ionic liquid aqueous two-phase system was developed for the extractive resolution of racemic phenylalanine, achieving high optical purity in both L-phenylalanine and D-phenylalanine. This green and recyclable approach showed great potential in industry with consistently good resolution ability even in gram-scale.

Summary: In this study, a tentacle-type cellulose monolith immobilized with m-xylene bisphosphonate was prepared for lysozyme purification, showing high static and dynamic adsorption capacity. Furthermore, the material exhibited excellent selectivity and successfully enriched lysozyme from diluted chicken egg white.
