Plant polyphenol intermediated metal-organic framework (MOF) membranes for efficient desalination

Summary: A ZIF-8 membrane was successfully fabricated using plant polyphenol tannic acid as an intermediate layer, overcoming the grain boundary defects and intercrystalline cracks in MOF thin film.
