Static and dynamic fluorescence spectroscopic analyses of direct yellow 27-an azo dye

Summary: In this study, static and dynamic fluorescence analyses of direct yellow 27 were conducted in various solvents, showing a redshifted emission peak with increasing solvent polarity and differences in excited-state lifetime in different solvents. The fluorescence quantum yield in water was calculated as 0.41 with solvent-dependent variations.
