Oxidative Stress-Induced Hypermethylation of KLF5 Promoter Mediated by DNMT3B Impairs Osteogenesis by Diminishing the Interaction with β-Catenin

Oxidative stress-induced hypermethylation of KLF5 mediated by DNMT3B impairs osteogenesis by diminishing the interaction with beta-catenin, suggesting a potential new strategy for osteoporosis treatment by targeting the hypermethylation of KLF5.

The overexpression of JKAMP can enhance the osteogenic capacity of DOP-ASCs, indicating that intragenic DNA methylation regions may be one of the reasons for the reduced osteogenic ability of DOP-ASCs.
