Length-weight relationships were determined for three fish species from Dayang River in northeast China. The study found statistically significant relationships for all species, with new size ranges provided for two of the species.
Length-weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for three fish species from Dayang River, northeast China. The specimens were collected using drift gillnets (80 x 2 m, four mesh sizes: 4, 5, 6 and 8 cm) seasonally from April to November 2020. All LWRs were statistically significant (p < .01), with r(2) values being >= 0.95. This study provides a new record of LWR for Takifugu xanthopterus and the new size ranges for Planiliza haematocheila (15.6-66.2 cm) and Lateolabrax japonicus (29.9-45.4 cm).
