Graph theory model and mechanism analysis of carbon fiber paper conductivity in fuel cell based on physical structure

Ruofan Zhang et al.

Summary: Research on the conduction mechanism of gas diffusion layer substrate-carbon fiber paper treated with PTFE is challenging, with contact point density inside CFP found to affect through-plane resistance. By constructing a graph theory model based on PTFE distribution, the study provides a basis for designing CFP with lower electrical loss and improving power generation efficiency for PEMFC.
