Risk of Lymphedema Following Contemporary Treatment for Breast Cancer An Analysis of 7617 Consecutive Patients From a Multidisciplinary Perspective

Summary: This study identified risk factors for lymphedema in breast cancer patients and constructed nomograms to predict individual risk of lymphedema. Results showed that deintensifying node dissection, chemotherapy regimen, and field and dose of radiotherapy can decrease lymphedema risk. Multidisciplinary deescalation strategies may minimize lymphedema risk.
