The impact of pyrolysis conditions on orange peel biochar physicochemical properties for sandy soil

Ali Abdelaal et al.

Summary: This study investigated the potential of waste orange peel biochar for agricultural applications in sandy soil, leading to environmental benefits and carbon sequestration. The physicochemical characteristics of biochar were significantly impacted by the heating region and holding time. Preliminary planting tests showed potential for improving agricultural sustainability in sandy soils.
