Hybrid nanofluid flow towards a stagnation point on an exponentially stretching/shrinking vertical sheet with buoyancy effects

Iskandar Waini et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the flow of a hybrid nanofluid towards a stagnation point on an exponentially stretching/shrinking vertical sheet with buoyancy effects. The authors found that the heat transfer rate is higher for the Al2O3-Cu/water hybrid nanofluid compared to Cu/water nanofluid, and observed non-uniqueness of solutions for certain physical parameters. Additionally, bifurcation of solutions was noticed in the downward buoyant force and shrinking regions.

MHD flow and heat transfer of hybrid nanofluid over a permeable moving surface in the presence of thermal radiation

Nurul Amira Zainal et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow and heat transfer characteristics of hybrid nanofluid on a permeable moving surface in the presence of magnetohydrodynamics and thermal radiation. The results show that the presence of a magnetic field and suction slows down the fluid motion, while an increase in thermal radiation parameter enhances heat transfer rate. Additionally, stability analysis confirms the existence of dual solutions within a specific range of moving parameters, with only one solution being physically relevant.

Summary: This study examines the effects of Dufour and Soret diffusions on Al2O3-water nanofluid flow over a moving thin needle using the Tiwari and Das model. The analysis focuses on the uniqueness of the solutions for different physical parameters and the implications for skin friction, heat transfer, and mass transfer coefficients.

Radiative hybrid nanofluid flow past a rotating permeable stretching/shrinking sheet

Nur Syazana Anuar et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the stability analysis of Cu-Al2O3/water nanofluid under radiation and suction effects on a rotating stretching/shrinking sheet. The study reveals non-unique solutions for certain shrinking parameter values and significant impact of suction parameter on obtaining solutions. The presence of copper nanoparticle volume fractions results in increased local skin friction and decreased local Nusselt number on the shrinking surface.

Hybrid nanofluid flow on a shrinking cylinder with prescribed surface heat flux

Iskandar Waini et al.

Summary: This study investigates the impinging flow on a shrinking cylinder in Al2O3-Cu/water hybrid nanofluid subjected to prescribed surface heat flux. Two solutions are possible for the shrinking case, where one is stable in the long run. Friction and heat transfer on the surface increase with higher values of φhnfand γ.

Hybrid nanofluid flow through an exponentially stretching/shrinking sheet with mixed convection and Joule heating

Ubaidullah Yashkun et al.

Summary: This study focuses on enhancing thermal conductivity using a hybrid nanofluid mathematical model, combining natural mixed convection and Joule heating. Results show dual solutions, indicating the novelty of the study. The increase in copper volume fraction and Eckert number leads to a decrease in surface temperature, resulting in a decrease in heat transfer rate.

Summary: This study uses numerical methods to analyze the unsteady flow of hybrid Cu-Al2O3/water nanofluid over a permeable stretching/shrinking disc and investigates flow stability. The results indicate the possibility of two solutions when considering suction parameters and when the unsteady parameter is less than 0 (decelerating flow).

Summary: This study focuses on the impact of the melting effect and magnetic field on inhomogeneous heat sources and sinks, using a mathematical model considering fluid with hybrid nanoparticles and dust particles. The results show that increasing certain physical parameters significantly alters the velocity and thermal profiles, with graphs illustrating the effects on convective flow behavior and thermal characteristics.
