Stretchable and biocompatible bovine serum albumin fibrous films supported silver for accelerated bacteria-infected wound healing

Fan Zhang et al.

Summary: The G-BSA-Ag films exhibit good extensibility, transparency, and appropriate swelling ability, maintaining a moist and visible healing environment to promote wound healing. The in vitro and in vivo biocompatibility analysis confirms their non-hemolysis, durable antibacterial properties, non-cytotoxicity, and promotion to cell migration.

Fibrous aramid hydrogel supported antibacterial agents for accelerating bacterial-infected wound healing

Fan Zhang et al.

Summary: A dressing with antibacterial drugs loaded onto aramid nanofibers hydrogels was developed to accelerate wound healing in bacterial infected wounds. The hydrogels had good mechanical properties, high water content, high water adsorption property, and good water retention ability. In vivo results showed that the composite hydrogels accelerated the healing rate of infection wounds and were suitable as potential anti-infective wound dressings.
